Lyrics to Unclean (EP)

Unclean

… and we will scream from the streets, “Unclean! Unclean!”

We won’t be bound by our sickness forever

but we will scream from the streets, “Unclean! Unclean!”

‘til we appease the king. Our Island awaits…

The Grove

We’ve got our torches ready. It’s time to see what the stars will bring.

We have a message to congregate, sent to all that speak the languages carved in stone.

Behind the gate are things that no man will know,

but the truth will be told in the smoke that rises in the evening sky

We will burn the child inside the grove and sacrifice one of your own.

A hidden meaning we will know. The cremation of Care.

It’s rising, it’s rising up.

The night’s air will be cold and dense and filled with smoke.

Breathe in the ash of innocence.

We will burn for a thousand years a son for every time around

The burning of a thousand sons

We won’t fall, no we won’t fall. (You’ll keep us here forever, we’ll stay here forever.)

Marley Koto

…and I can see smoke from under my door. Breathe in, blacken my lungs.

The flames are closing in on me, break the glass now

These men will fight the flames inside, we’ll see it through

and I can see the flashing lights red and blue

Feel the wind as it passes you by

and pray that the wind (Grabs you and saves you, lets you fly, however slightly)

These men will fight the flames inside, we’ll see it through

and I can see the flashing lights, red and blue

The view from here is nothing short of beautiful

I fear not the fall, but I hold my breath and close my eyes

So Much for Georgia

You never thought that we would be any more than this…

Where have we gone? and what have we done? Not as much as it seems

But I can’t believe that you would be one to deceive

You’re someone that I thought I knew, but you’re no one that I’m wanting to

I understand what you wanted all along

I know now that this couldn’t more wrong

I can’t believe that you would do this to me

Coast to coast is much further than you made it seem

We’re a ghost, we’re nothing like I thought we’d be

I understand what you wanted all along

I know now that this couldn’t more wrong

We’re drifting further apart, just how you planned

We will not be what I thought

I see it now, love has made me blind but I see your true colors now

I see your true colors now

Dad, You Were Like a Father to Me

We haven’t got a choice, no options but to steal, to rob the powers that be and break

the molds that seal us into a tomb of no advancement

and no chances to be what we want

There’s a problem here, and it can’t be solved with anything less than rebellion

That will never be forgotten

We won’t crumble down below

The bottom will revolt against the elite and we will have you

Begging at our feet, just as you have made us all for years

We refuse to live our lives on our knees

Gather the masses, let them hear these words, it is time to revolt! revolt! revolt!

We never thought it would come to this

But if the problem persists, we won’t crumble under the weight of oppression

We’ll burn it down and separate the things we want from things we hate

We’ll burn it down

Lots of people have been asking for lyrics so we’ll post them today! Sing along!

I haven’t been on here much the last few days. I thought I should fill you all in on what’s been troubling me lately. Home, it doesn’t feel like a home. I try and stay away from it because of all the hostility towards me. I go to work, come home, shower, change, drink water, and leave. I don’t even like to eat here. What’s causing all the hostility? The answer, money. I’ve struggled with job stability quite a bit this year. Losing my job in January, my sister allowed me to continue living here. The only condition she had, any unpaid rent gets added up and I make payments on. Fair enough, right? Three months later: Going from job to job being promised long term positions only to find out they were empty promises slowly starting to add a lot of stress, not just on just me, but my sister as well. Three months of rent adding up and me jumping from job to job has been the worst thing to ever happen to me. My situation now: three and a half months worth of rent added up, that’s $350 a month. I’ll let you do the math, (340x3.5). My sister, now down to her last straw, has given me a day. Yes, one day, to come up with that much money. I’m trying to sell my mac (my most prized possession) in hopes of getting rid of a huge chunk of that money. My band, Like Lepers, has 1,400+ likes on Facebook. If I could get a $1 donation from half the people on there, it would cover the rest of the costs. I have 300+ followers on twitter and friends on Facebook, I’ll be happy with any donations. Even if I don’t make the amount I need. I’m grateful for any donations I receive. I’m not relying on donations only, I’m doing everything in my power to raise the money. Future plans: I plan on moving out next month, I plan on having just myself on my phone plan, it’ll cut my monthly costs down by more than 50%. I’ve discussed starting an organization with the clothing line that endorses my band, Evolve Over Hate. The idea, is to raise money by doing bake sales, doing community services, and raising money at shows to keep kid off the streets. I will be announcing more details as I figure out how to get it all started. Thank you all for your time, if you can help by donating, thank you so much, if not, then all I ask is that you please reblog or retweet this please. Thanks again! God bless.
